London's murder mile

Last week Peter Chesney pushed aside his grief to take me to Amy’s Park, where his daughter was murdered, to talk about the rising tide of knife crime that is blighting the area. There have been 12 murders and attempted murders in the same one mile zone that forms Harold Hill in the past four years and a local politician believes a turf war is raging between County Lines gangs. The most recent saw one teenager killed and another injured during a brawl with a machete wielding gang in broad daylight. Truly terrifying if you’re one of the young families living in the area.

Exclusive interview with Jodie Chesney's dad

She was the Girl Scout and Duke of Edinburgh winner who would have gone on to inspire so many people had her life not been cruelly snatched away. On the two year anniversary of Jodie Chesney’s death, Graeme interviewed her dad Peter Chesney about his anti-knife crime foundation and the happy news that he is about to have a new baby

Heartbreaking story of a young life lost too soon

This is Vicky Unwin and her daughter Louise Cattell, posing for a photo just a short time before 21-year-old Louise tragically died after taking too much ketamine and overdosing in the bath. March marks 10 years since her death and Vicky was kind enough to talk about her loss to My Story Media.
